Group Training

Our program objective is to guide you in the development of a solid foundation for your canine, ensuring they grow to be a balanced and well-mannered dog through fun exercises in a safe learning atmosphere.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age should my dog start training?

Puppy training can, and should start, as early as 8 weeks old. In Muskoka K9's Puppy Program, training focuses on teaching the handler how to build trust between you and your puppy, deliver and instil obedience to simple commands, develop your puppy's confidence, and enhance its socialization skills.

How do you address reactive behaviours?

Reactive behaviours are a troubling and potentially dangerous reality for far too many dogs. Muskoka K9 customizes strategies to address the source of the triggers in order to alter your dog's reactive behaviors. Finding the root cause of the reactivity is important to us. We prioritize the safety and comfort of you and your dog.  

Can old dogs learn new tricks?

Absolutely! Like with humans, it's never too late to learn. Dogs of any age can learn new behaviours and commands. The key is understanding the principles of effective training techniques.

Can you help me create an adventure partner?
